Miguel had opened his mouth to say something, but any words were swallowed. Ry was kissing him. Okay, maybe he had misjudged the kid … ? This was by far the most awkward kiss he’d ever had. How old was Ry, technically? Would it be wrong of him to grab him and kiss back … ?
Miguel didn’t react the way most people did when he kissed them. It was a little puzzling, but still when he pulled back he was smiling. “Gracias, mi amigo.” He nuzzled under the older boy’s jaw briefly before pulling back and looking around. “What do we do now Miguel? Mas bailamos?”
Miguel was a bit dumbstruck, as if the kiss had stolen his voice.
” … You … How’d chu do that?!” He asked, his turn to be a little amazed, rather than Ry.
Ry looked back at him and beamed. “Tamaraneans learn new languages by kissing!” The boy explained excitedly. “Is it not wonderful? Kisses are so nice!”
Ry giggled at his laugh, feeling his feelings soar again.
“Me no breaks Ry,” he attempted, trying to figure out the words in English. He shook his head a bit; it didn’t sound the way Miguel said it. “Let me learn first!” He insisted before floating up and pressing their lips together.
